On average eight kilos of Superdry will keep the humidity in a 40ft container below that at which condensation forms. It will act as a buffer to absorb the moisture in the air and protects the cargo from moisture damage.
Superdry is a calcium chloride-based desiccant that absorbs at least six times more moisture than traditional silica gel. This means that smaller sachets can be used in product packaging to absorb the same amount of moisture.
Superdry desiccant is an excellent associated product to offer alongside self-storage services. Large kilo units can help eliminate general mould buid-up and smaller sachets can prevent moisure damage in smaller boxes.
