Superdry sachets will maintain a low humidity in packaging to protect moisture sensitive products from damage during shipping and storage.

The active ingredient is calcium chloride, which absorbs up to 200% its own wieght in moisture and is a food grade material.

This is unlike silica gel sachets, which only absorb up to 30% their own weight, and are a potential carcinogen if consumed.

The extra absorption means that a smaller sachet can be used when compared to silica gel, reducing the required space in packaging.
