Superdry DrySac - Desiccant for Cargo Containers

Superdry DrySac are lengths of 200g calcium chloride desiccant sachets contained in a spun-bound Tyvek outer casing.

Each unit has a plastic hook at one end for convenient suspension of the desiccant bag. This makes it ideal for hanging on the inside of corrugated shipping containers.

The calcium chloride desiccant within the Superdry DrySac will absorb up to 200% its own weight in moisture as it turns from a powder into a gel.

The fact that the moisture is turned to a gel and the outer Tyvek casing only allows moisture to travel in and not out, guarantees no leaks of the collected liquid, even with rough handling. This is unlike other desiccant products with plastic collection chambers that are prone to breakage and leaks when crushed or mistreated.

Calcium Chloride is a totally safe, food grade material.

The number of DrySacs required to maintain humidity control in any given application will depend on many variables. However, on average 8kg of desiccant is suitable to maintain the atmosphere in a 40ft cargo container.
